U.S. Jobless Claims Unchanged at 627K for week of February 14 compared to survey of a drop by 1K; U.S. Continuing Claims for week of February 7 rose 170K to 4,987,000; U.S. Jobless Claims Revised for week of February 7 to 627K from 623K; U.S. Continuing Jobless Claims hit Highest on Record.
Producer Price Index:

Can You Really Learn to Trade the E-Mini’s and Make Money?
There are a number of statistics that are bandied about regarding the success rate of new traders. The general statistic that you hear quoted is a 90% failure rate within the first three months. It would be hard for me to dispute this statistic, as I see waves of traders enter the market without training and attempt to become millionaires. Alert: Gap Lower, Turn High. Rinse, Repeat
The markets once again opened lower today, only to have the standard buy the dip kick in. Almost every trading day the markets open lower, then rally slowly up throughout the day, closing neutral to higher. The SPDR S&P 500 ETF (NYSE:SPY) opened at 3.46. This was a drop of 0.39 from the close yesterday. The SPY is now trading at 4.05, the highs of the day.
