Senate Democrats announced today they are preparing legislation to enforce a hefty excise tax on AIG bonuses. (read more at Millennium-Traders.Com)

U.S. February Producer Prices rose 0.1% compared to consensus of an increase by 0.4%; U.S. February PPI Excluding-Food & Energy rose 0.2% compared to consensus of an increase by 0.1%; U.S. February PPI Intermediate Goods dropped 0.9%; U.S. February PPI Core Intermediate Goods fell 0.6%; U.S. February PPI Crude Goods fell 4.5%; U.S. February PPI Core Crude Goods rose 1.5%; U.S. February PPI Energy Prices rose 1.3%; U.S. February Passenger Car Prices unchanged; U.S. January PPI Unrevised at increase by 0.8%.

Housing Starts:
U.S. Building Permits rose 3.0% to 547,000 rate in February; U.S. January Housing Starts Revised to drop by 14.5% from drop by 16.8%; U.S. February Housing Starts rose 22.2% to 583,000 compared to consensus of a drop by 1.3%.
