A recent survey of CEOs showed that 88% of business leaders expect 2010 will be a better year for their businesses than in 2009. The survey also showed that during 2009 was a difficult year for most, 75% of the CEOs felt that they learned some useful lessons from the recession. It seems that the worst is over, expect to for many CEOs and only 19% cost reduction on the course of 2010. Nevertheless, only 38% expect less stressed this year and only 31% expect that their work-life balance to be better in 2010.

The survey was run recently from Orchard Growth Partners with a CEO-Unit under the leadership of its director zone at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where Ash Mehta, CEO of Orchard Growth Partners made a presentation entitled “The recovery starts here: Key issues in the preparation of your company in 2010.
