JP Morgan, the founder of the Morgan Bank, used to say that “Everyone can be a millionaire, but also become a billionaire, you need an astrologer.” He had a private astrologer, Evageline Adams who helped him immensely. I was lucky enough financial astrological books from her library to purchase.

It’s a little known fact that WD Gann went to India and studied Indian Sidereal Astrology. In his notebooks we find sketches of astrological symbols on their cards, and in his memoirs, he talks about his trip to India. In fact, used the famous Gann wheel first tea merchants in the seventeenth century in India. Gann also discussed the importance of using the starting date of when the first futures contract for a commodity trading began planning for the future of this product. To my knowledge there are very few individuals who use this course begins in order to successfully time the markets, though has my experience in dealing with Indian Sidereal Astrology shown that these maps are invaluable.

Below is a brief introduction to Indian Sidereal Astrology, an overview of Indian time cycles and how they can be used, and a forecast through 2017 based on the U.S. stock market on that system.

The Western zodiac to the Indian Zodiac
Indian astrology is more than 5000 years old and has its foundation in ancient science. Parashara, a great seer or ancient scientist, intuitively the laws of space and time for the evolution of human consciousness and recorded his findings in a book called Hora Sastra Brihat.

The first major difference between Indian and Western astrology lies in the calculation of the length of the planet. Ancient Indian astrologers observed that the equinoxes and solstices moved backward by one degree every 72 years, an astronomical phenomenon now known as precession. Over the years, has a difference of just over 23 degrees between the tropical Zodiac, used by Western astrologers, and the sidereal zodiac, led by Indian astrologers. In essence, the two systems differ in their choice of the zero point for Aries – the Western system uses the position of the vernal equinox, while the Indian system uses a fixed star. So when the sun moves into Aries according to the Western system, it is still at 6 degrees Pisces in the Indian system. (For a further discussion of the differences, see my article in the Winter 1989 NCGR Journal.)

Planetary periods: Beyond transits
A Dasha is a period in which one will affect the life or governed by a particular planet. For example, takes the shortest time, the Sun period, six years while the longest time, Venus takes twenty years. These cycles unfold in a fixed sequence and comprise 120 years before repeating them. The sequence of cycles:

Ketu (Moon’s South Node): 7 years
Venus: 20 years
Sun: 6 years
Moon: 10 years
Mars: 7 years
Rahu (North Node) 18 years
Jupiter: 16 years
Saturn: 19 years
Mercury: 17 years

Where the cycle begins on the exact position of the moon at the time of birth. For example, if soybean trading began in 1936, was the moon in the constellation (nakshatra) of Orion, which is ruled by the planet Mars. Such a sequential development of the cycles began with a 7 years of Mars period of Rahu (North Node of the Moon), 18, Jupiter 16 years, in its current Saturn period that lasts 20 years, etc. If beans had begun trading followed a day later started, then would the next cycle of the constellation of Rahu, or the North Node of the Moon is governed. the number of degrees the moon through a nakshatra transit will notice how much time is left in the first cycle. Within major cycles of periods or sub-cycles that unfold in a series sequential pattern. The sub-cycle begins with the planet ruling the major cycle and then moves in a row. For instance, followed the current Saturn period for shares with a Saturn / Saturn period in 1998, started and continued with a Saturn / Mercury period in August 2001 by a Saturn / Ketu in 2004, etc. The big Saturn cycle in 2017 will go and then the U.S. stock market into a long period of Mercury. To properly with the Indian time cycles and their smaller periods, you have the exact date of commencement of the first contract of the future of a commodity. Every minute that one is, can a change in the prediction of low or high of about 4 days. O’Non and Remnick illustrate the importance of the exact time using an analogy from physics:

I had to go to the archives of the Chicago Board of Trade, and other major exchanges, travel to check if the first tick starting time and collected have a fast with dates and times that I created for participants to make in my advanced seminars, and my own complete set course on Vedic astrology Financial (see references below). The challenge is that some of this data is very hard to get or destroyed, as was the case for wheat and corn data due to the Chicago Fire and New York exchanges merging and not keep good data. It takes time to correct the charts and make it fruitful. The easiest way to understand the impact of a period is to look to examples from the past. Because we have 215 years of data on the U.S. stock market, and the full flowering of a number of cycles is 120 years, we can go back to the period 1878-1897 to study until last analogues.

The application of the Indian Cycles in U.S. stock market
What is extremely exciting about the use of Dasha and Indian time cycles for market prediction is that it enables one to change the exact date, the cycles to label them and to quantify whether they are strong ups, minor ups and high depths, or sideways know. Looking at the 215-year history of the stock market, and is familiar with the rules for the prediction and interpretation of the Indian dasha or time clock system would be the mysterious cycles to govern the stocks seem to be no longer a secret. For example, by no coincidence that the bull market began in 1982 with the start of a 16-year period, Jupiter, which began in late August. In general then, the system predicted the stock would continue to expand until 1998, since Jupiter a “bullish” planet and is good in the birth chart of the 17 May 1792 stock market chart placed. Rises and falls in the great cycles of sub-periods or antardasas explained. These sub-periods can either enhance or diminish the strength of the long period of time.

Within this 16-year period, the transits of Jupiter, its retrogradation and aspects to it are especially influential since Jupiter assumes the second most important role in the NYSE chart next to the moon, the chart Lord. The Jupiter ended in 1998 when a 19-year period of Saturn taken second most important role.

A recent study by the NYSE, I explained how the dasa is beneficial in the short and medium-rises or falls on site. Certain combinations lead to very unpredictable results. You get daily timing on the stock market must be watched, four or five levels of the dasa or cycles that come larger 20 – and 2-3 years will be extended later in 20 – and 3-4 – day periods. Surprisingly, the cyclical combinations that prove negative for the larger scale level, often as a negative effect on the smaller scale.

A comparison of the October-February 1987-1988 fourth level cycles (Jupiter / Mercury / Venus / Rahu etc.) with the third level periods 1901-1904 (Mercury / Venus / Rahu) shows that the great depths coincide with a repetition of the particular combinations. This principle can be extended in other years also for sections of the other cycles. For example, consider the following:

Venus / Rahu / Saturn: (8-28-29 to 2-17-30) high Rejected from 372.06 on 9-03-29 to a low of 230.07 on 10-29-29. Jupiter / Mercury / Venus / Rahu / Saturn (4 December 1987). Signaled another important low and falling to 1747 on the Dow after it as high as 2051 after the crash.

Jupiter / Mercury / Venus / Venus / Rahu (October 19, 1987) The third level did Venus period to the direction of the fall in combination with a series of bearish oppositions, the return to a darkened constellation and the sidereal transit of Uranus help in Sagittarius . For example, from the stock market the last major lunar period August 1947 to August 1957. During this time the Dow went from 179.74 to 492.32, up by over 200%. While smaller moon cycles in larger periods, such as the Mars / Moon period of 21 January 1964 to 21st August 1964 the market climbed 776-838. And from the Rahu / Moon period 31 January 1980 to 31st July 1981, the Dow climbed 875-935. Also on the third level, we can usually count on a rally during a period moon, like the Jupiter / Mercury / Moon period from 4 13th April 1988 June 1988. We saw a surprise rally, which began in late May and took the Dow from 2000 at the beginning of the period to 2200 to almost the end of the period.

From the above examples we can see the value of being able to label and quantify the cycles to predict the extent of the movement. How many cycle analysts know, you can often major cycle lows and entry point, but still no idea how big the step is. The Indian can be a real-time analytics solution for weather prediction because it predict the future, not only recommend it in the past.

Future of the U.S. stock market in 2017 at the Indian Cycles

A 19-year-old lackluster Saturn period 1998-2017 is not the bullish energy that we have seen in the Jupiter period 1982 to 1998. Consequently, the market will not go straight up, nor will it go straight down – and it turns out that Venus has phases of the biggest percentage losses. As we saw in the 18 years of Rahu period from August 1964 to August 1982, the market can go net sideways in relatively narrow price bands for many years.

There is an approximate high in 9th June 2007 by a sharp decline in the week of 22 October 2007 followed by a lower low since 2008 in about the third week of April. We are still to translate just to these patterns in price movements.
It appears that a recovery rally in late May 2010, then a sharp decline in December 2010, a recovery towards the highs in January 2013 and a marked decline in 2013, one of the lowest points in the whole time, a recovery in August 2015 and then makes a sharp decline in the expiry of the period to reach record levels in April 2017. Hence the long hours have to be Feb.-June stocks seem 2007, April 2008 to May 2010 and December 2010 to January 2013. We adjust these directional indicators with Elliott Wave pattern analysis to predict the price. It seems enough upward trend in the current cycle to take stocks much higher up in the June 2007 cycle.

Gann reminded us that we know everything we are and to break into our forecasts. Indian Time cycles a tool. In our newsletter, we combine it with Elliott wave pattern analysis, minor astrological timing of planetary aspects, and five other proprietary cyclical techniques and technical analysis.
As early as 1990 and 1994, when everyone was bearish on stocks, we predicted DOW prices well over 7,000 in 1998-2000, based on our dasha cycle models.

Conclusion
Any attempt, the mysterious laws of nature, to discover behind the commodity and equity markets will be rewarded and intrigued by the depths of the Indian astrology. The study of Indian astrology leads not only to knowledge of economic laws, but ultimately to knowledge of self. Understanding Indian cycles and transits is as important for trading successfully as a good timing system. A combination of the two is surprisingly useful and leads to a deep appreciation of the order of natural law. Although no astrological system should be 100% to time market entries and exits are used, both astrological and technical signals can certainly stack the odds in favor. “

Willamette Valley Vineyards engages in the production and sale of its brand name wines available in the Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Griffin Creek brand and other popular wine styles. The company markets and distributed its wines directly at its winery; directly and indirectly through its shareholders and website; and through self-distributions to local restaurants, retail, and wholesale outlets in Oregon, all other U.S. states and 8 additional countries through wine wholesales.

Willamette opened a new tasting room called the Wine Center located in McMinnville, OR, that serves as a new retail location in the fourth quarter of 2009. This new location contributed to an increase in retail sales in the first quarter, while net revenues were down a mere 2%. Other financial highlights for the quarter are detailed below.
The wineries and distilleries producers operate in an interesting industry. First of all, this business is cost-heavy due to seasonality and variable cost factors that include labor and allowances for obsolete inventories that occur from the wholesale business most wine distributors have. For the first quarter 2010, Willamette was able to move these obsolete inventories as detailed below thanks to major investments in inventory controls and refocusing by sales staff. More obvious than those challenges are the fact that the industry belongs to the consumer goods sector, a sector infamously known for sensitivity to changing consumer tastes and macro-economic trends. After 28 years in the business, Mr. Bernau says the recent recession was particularly hard on the customers. In Oregon, where one in five citizens are currently recipients of food stamps and the unemployment beats national averages at 11.7%, Willamette’s margins have suffered along with the macro-economic downturn and recovery.

Mr. Bernau is optimistic; the higher costs of goods sold recorded during the period are not expected to persist.
Partly because the demand for Willamette’s flagship wine, the pinot noir, has escalated in recent years, Mr. Bernau is proud to have retained the customers who drink the wine he loves to produce. “The pinot noir drinkers are a unique group of people” he said, speaking over the phone from his Oregon office, “they are a sophisticated and well-educated; really great customers to have. We feel really lucky to be serving this market niche”. The cool climate red wine grape variety associated with the French Burgundy region has enjoyed an outburst in popularity in the last few years, surprisingly enough to Mr. Bernau and his team, among young, hip culinary enthusiast s who consider pinot noir to be the best red wine food companion. The climb to admiration in the U.S. for pinot noir had already been steadily building up when the movie Sideways triggered an explosion in demand and consumption for the variety Willamette sold by Willamette. Mr. Bernau offered rather explicitly that Willamette’s 08′ pinot noir vintage promises to be the best wine they’ve ever produced.

First Quarter 2010 Financial Highlights Include:

 

A shift in the mix of sales from produced brands to purchased brands in our Oregon wholesale market where we achieve a lower gross profit has adversely impacted gross margins in the first quarter 2010. The company announced that a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Hong Kong and Oregon and Washington states was signed on May 24, 2010 in Hong Kong, and Willamette would be participating. Under the MOU, the three places will strengthen co-operation in promoting wine-related trading, tourism, investment, education and the fight against counterfeits. With a knack for trade promotion, Hong Kong presents an ideal platform for companies from the two states to market their boutique wines to Asian clients. Since eliminating duties just over two years ago, the value of wine imported into Hong Kong from the U.S. has increased five-fold. While opening up exciting avenues for the wine industry in the respective places, the MOU also signifies a new chapter in bilateral relations between Hong Kong and Oregon and Washington.

Willamette Valley Vineyards engages in the production and sale of its brand name wines available in the Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Griffin Creek brand and other popular wine styles. The company markets and distributed its wines directly at its winery; directly and indirectly through its shareholders and website; and through self-distributions to local restaurants, retail, and wholesale outlets in Oregon, all other U.S. states and 8 additional countries through wine wholesales.

Willamette opened a new tasting room called the Wine Center located in McMinnville, OR, that serves as a new retail location in the fourth quarter of 2009. This new location contributed to an increase in retail sales in the first quarter, while net revenues were down a mere 2%. Other financial highlights for the quarter are detailed below.
The wineries and distilleries producers operate in an interesting industry. First of all, this business is cost-heavy due to seasonality and variable cost factors that include labor and allowances for obsolete inventories that occur from the wholesale business most wine distributors have. For the first quarter 2010, Willamette was able to move these obsolete inventories as detailed below thanks to major investments in inventory controls and refocusing by sales staff. More obvious than those challenges are the fact that the industry belongs to the consumer goods sector, a sector infamously known for sensitivity to changing consumer tastes and macro-economic trends. After 28 years in the business, Mr. Bernau says the recent recession was particularly hard on the customers. In Oregon, where one in five citizens are currently recipients of food stamps and the unemployment beats national averages at 11.7%, Willamette’s margins have suffered along with the macro-economic downturn and recovery.

Mr. Bernau is optimistic; the higher costs of goods sold recorded during the period are not expected to persist.
Partly because the demand for Willamette’s flagship wine, the pinot noir, has escalated in recent years, Mr. Bernau is proud to have retained the customers who drink the wine he loves to produce. “The pinot noir drinkers are a unique group of people” he said, speaking over the phone from his Oregon office, “they are a sophisticated and well-educated; really great customers to have. We feel really lucky to be serving this market niche”. The cool climate red wine grape variety associated with the French Burgundy region has enjoyed an outburst in popularity in the last few years, surprisingly enough to Mr. Bernau and his team, among young, hip culinary enthusiast s who consider pinot noir to be the best red wine food companion. The climb to admiration in the U.S. for pinot noir had already been steadily building up when the movie Sideways triggered an explosion in demand and consumption for the variety Willamette sold by Willamette. Mr. Bernau offered rather explicitly that Willamette’s 08′ pinot noir vintage promises to be the best wine they’ve ever produced.

First Quarter 2010 Financial Highlights Include:

 

A shift in the mix of sales from produced brands to purchased brands in our Oregon wholesale market where we achieve a lower gross profit has adversely impacted gross margins in the first quarter 2010. The company generated (.04) basic earnings per share during the three months ended March 31, 2010, a decrease of .07 basic earnings per share versus the comparable prior year period.
In 2009, management implemented a new inventory management and purchasing system to identify and prevent the accumulation of purchased wine inventory that could sour if not sold. From October 2009 to the end of the 1st Quarter 2010, aged wine inventory has been reduced from 8,332 to 3,034.
The company should benefit with the release of the 2009 vintage beginning with the ’09 Whole Cluster Pinot Noir in June. Provided the Company can maintain its general price position, operating income from produced wines should improve.
The company announced that a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Hong Kong and Oregon and Washington states was signed on May 24, 2010 in Hong Kong, and Willamette would be participating. Under the MOU, the three places will strengthen co-operation in promoting wine-related trading, tourism, investment, education and the fight against counterfeits. With a knack for trade promotion, Hong Kong presents an ideal platform for companies from the two states to market their boutique wines to Asian clients. Since eliminating duties just over two years ago, the value of wine imported into Hong Kong from the U.S. has increased five-fold. While opening up exciting avenues for the wine industry in the respective places, the MOU also signifies a new chapter in bilateral relations between Hong Kong and Oregon and Washington.
