@skyvanburen the jog wheels are motion sensitive. They have two settings. One is like a cdj where you can turn or spin it in whatever direction to slow or speed up the song to beat match. The second setting is “Scratch” where once you start moving the wheel it acts like a turntable and will react live moving a vinyl record back and forth. It would be wicked if someone would make one where the actual jog wheel spins.

    I hope this helps.

hey i’m thinking about getting one of these. one question though, how does the jog wheels work with a playing track if they don’t move on their own?

@remyg34 get a hold of me if you’re still looking how to map specific effects to certain buttons. i have TONS of re-mapped stuff on my RMX and could help anybody that needs it.

@mikiastesfaye the only other controllers I’ve tried is the MK2 and the new Traktor S4. The S4 is Dope! Looks like I’m gonna be switching over in the new year.

What’s bro. You took the rmx to the next level. I do it so fast ale the effects and cuts, amazing. I have just one question. Have you tried the numark mixtrack pro? If you compare to rmx, which one you think is good to buy?

@necessaryexperience I have the S4 sitting beside me right now. Traktor sponsors me. I might be switching teams. Its gonna be hell switching over but if I’m gonna do it its got to be now. I have a few months before I go on tour again.

hey bro funny you had to explain that all out….Anyone who has used vdj for any amount of time would have know that or would have atleast know he can change his keystrokes atleast….But yeah man I was looking at hardware for my vdj software but am skeptical for the reason not sure if I am gonna stick with vdj I might be going back to traktor….I think the search engine for vdj although has improved over the years I still find it insufficient nice work bro

Hey Dow i dont know if u know this, but the group of 6 keys above the jog wheels, if u hold 1 of the 6 down for i beleive 3-4 seconds u can change the fuction that way as well, im sure if u were familar with that. its only changeable thru the effects, but QUICK CHANGE is to hold it for about 3-4 seconds let go and it brings a menu, select the one you want, and VOLIA! LOL PRACICE AND ENJOY! by the way, You got SERIOUS skills i wish i possessed with that controller lol.

hakon312, do you say this because you think covers are supposed to be copies and the more clear and exact the copy, the better the cover? because i thought it was very different, but also very interesting in it’s overall sound and feel. i would say i prefer the original but that this wasn’t terrible

Winston sounds depressed on this song.
But that’s what reggae originally was depression and opression.
